David Beckham is in the process of completing a move to French club Paris St Germain, according to reports.
Following weeks of speculation about the 37-year-old's next club, Beckham is apparently on his way to Paris to complete the formalities of signing for the Paris side.
According to the BBC's transfer headline day coverage, Beckham will be unveiled officially at a press conference on Thursday, and begin training in the next two weeks.
Within minutes of the news emerging, 'Beckham to PSG' was the UK's top Twitter trend, with some fans expressing disappointment that he will not be making a premier league comeback, and others speculating that the move will better suit wife Victoria's fashion career.
The move comes just days after Beckham trained with Arsène Wenger's Arsenal team.

Beckham, 37, will apparently report for duty at the London club's Hertfordshire training ground later this morning.
It is thought that the former England captain is joining up with the Gunners to stay fit while he makes a decision over his future in the sport.
This will not be the first time that Beckham has joined Arsenal for training; in 2008 he trained with the club in the MLS off-season. And Beckham is not the only experienced player to take up the opportunity to train with Wenger's team. Former Gunner Thierry Henry re-joined Arsenal for several training sessions last year, although a loan spell at Arsenal was ruled out by the manager at the start of the year.
In recent weeks, Beckham has been linked with Paris Saint-German and AC Milan, while closer to home QPR and West Ham are rumoured to be interested in signing Beckham for the remainder of the season. It is thought that Beckham is keen to make a premier league return.
