Jennifer Lawrence has quipped that she plans to wear sweat pants to the Oscars.
The Silver Linings Playbook star, who is up for Best Actress for the role, joked to press at the Academy Awards nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills that she would turn up in a track suit, before admitting that this year's ceremony was going to be all about fashion for her.
"Last time was comfort. This year, I'm like, 'Suck it up, wear a corset," said Lawrence. "I am going to go for fashion this time."
She addressed the fitting red Calvin Klein dress she wore to the Oscars in 2011, where she was nominated for her role in Winter's Bone.
"I ate a Philly cheesesteak and fries, and I was like, 'This is definitely going to help'," she recalled. "It didn't, 'cause I had to double-Spanx it."

Lawrence went on to confess that she was looking forward to letting her hair down at the event. "It's very calm at my house. Nobody in my family has fully absorbed it. I can talk about other things other than myself, which is great. And then the night of the Oscars, everybody just gets wasted and has a blast."
