Early Life

After graduating from Saint Antony Secondary School, Ruth began performing at youth events and continue performing at Winner Chapel International Church as where she grew up singing in the nearby Dar Es Salaam. Ruth's musical inspirations include RnB singer Beyonce.

Singles

Ruth formally debuted on the music scene in 2011 with track One Day, .In February 2013, Daxo Chali wrote & produced her second song, Smile from her first album "Smile"..
Smile  also includes song, "Jua Likizama, Home, Niite Rafiki, Trouble, Happy Day, Tomorrow, Nimejifunza, Rise Up, & Tafakari  " According to Ruth, her musical style is RnB, folk-pop; she has called herself the "flower child of pop," according to her site.
In March 2013, Ruth was signed to Young Little Kidz Junior(YLKJ) record label Carly Grey Records, which was founded by Daxo Chali in 2010, and is currently run in part by producer Daxo Chali himself.
